Will this erase/print over material already on the PM3 player?

No it won’t, but in order to ensure the uniformity of everyone’s experience we are asking that you back-up and delete any content on your player before initiating your first beta-test dock of your player. Hey, Paul and Mark:
Black Box Beta = Part 1 = no problem = received the content, listened to it, took notes. Great.
Part 2 = the blue “Content Indicator” light was blinking Saturday morning, so I plugged in my PCS mp3 player, and forgot about it. Went back Sunday morning, the “Content Indicator” light was off (not lit or blinking) = so I unplugged the mp3 player.
Problem/Issue: nothing new is on the player.
No New Content.
What should I do?

OK, got the BlackBox delivered to me in the UK this week. Mine’s got lots of fine scratches across the top of the box – so it doesn’t look too good, I have to say. But I’m sure it won’t affect how it works.
Today 17th August, I cleared down PCS player, and followed video instructions.
The video instructions were good and clear.
Link established after about three minutes when the red light blinked. Attached the PCS player, blue triangle & circle flashed.
An hour and a bit later the content had completed downloading (blue circle no longer flashing).
The contents are now:
1. Fred C
2. You are thephy
3. Paul Colligan
4. Message 006
5. Message 5-T
6. Message 004
7. The 7 Dramat
8. Getting Great
9. Message 001
and a “Links” pdf only visible when you attach to a PC – which read fine on my PC.
Those were in the Black Box Beta directory.
Under Marketing Online Live was one MOL mp3.
Under Podcast Tools Weekly Update were four short mp3s.
That concluded my first download today.
Hi Paul:
We finally got the “Podeus” last week, but we were away for most of the week. So today was the first chance to hook it up.
Nada – No content delivered of the above 9 items + pdf. Server light is flashing as indicated with a steady pulse. Notably the first time I hooked it up the pulse was very quick and my PC kept saying that a cable was un plugged when the unit was plugged into the hub.
So, what shall I do now?

Hi Paul: Here’s another update for your latest test…
I’m in Toronto today and took the unit with me. I’ve plugged it into the hub of my Toronto Office and at first it did not blink.
So I reset it and it did. All the lights came up and indicated that your podcast was ready for downloading, all appeared normal for downloading, but when it indicated the download was complete, nothing new was in the player.
So I have reset it but there is no blinking light. I’ve checked my internet connection and it is fine, so I presume it’s a setting at Casgle’s end? Is the unit only set to one IP?
That’s no good for me when I travel….I’ve contacted Mark to sort it out.
That’s it for now…Hopefully I can get episode # 2 before it disappears. If it does though, can you send me the link?
